PRESS RELEASE
Project Launch: “Art as a Therapeutic Tool for People with Disabilities”
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new project, “Art as a Therapeutic Tool for People with Disabilities,” implemented within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps programme (ESC30-SOL).
Art has the power to unite, to heal, and to give a voice where words are not enough. Through activities such as music therapy, dance therapy, theatre, fashion design, visual arts, and crafts, our project aims to offer people with disabilities a safe and creative space for expression, empowerment, and social participation.
The main objectives of the project are:
• The creation of accessible art workshops tailored to the needs and abilities of each participant.
• The use of art as a therapeutic and empowering tool that enhances mental well-being and self-confidence.
• The promotion of social inclusion through collaborative activities between people with and without disabilities.
The programme is aimed at adults aged 18–35 with disabilities (intellectual, physical, sensory, psychological, or learning), as well as individuals without disabilities who wish to volunteer in the artistic activities.
Through this initiative, we aspire to build an inclusive community where diversity is seen as a source of inspiration and creativity.
Art becomes a bridge of communication, the voice of the soul, and a pathway toward a more just, open, and inclusive society.
